La Créature du Lagon Bleu. A rare sighting. While on a swimsuit shoot in Jamaica, we get the word that hurricane Dean was going to hit. Us. Hard. So we’re stuck in paradise. Pent up. Scary. Huddled together inside huts with wind screeching outside. Dean passed just south of us as a category 5 and caused widespread, but oddly beautiful destruction. When it was safe, we hit the debris-strewn beach, its lone inhabitants, still thinking we’re at work, so no tan lines. The driftwood and debris was piled high along the slanting tide-surged shoreline and the water was a cleansed deep sea cobalt blue. That’s when I spotted her. For just a millisecond… Capturé.
