I have (yet) another problem. When at sea and I see fins and blowholes, I identify them as Dolphins. And jump in. I dunno know why, I just do. I did it again here. While sailing on a kick-ass catamaran with a group, somewhere between Jamaica, the Caymans and Cuba, we encountered a pod of about twenty. I grabbed a float and jumped in – swam with them until they moved on, thinking the sailboat had tracked me. Only problem was, the drunkards manning the catamaran kept going. Strange feeling, watching your mast and sail grow tiny near the horizon at sunset, with no land in sight for all 360 degrees. I was about seventeen miles off shore. Any shore. It took three hours for them to sober up and locate me. I used the flash on my underwater camera like a beacon and managed to capture this image. They were pissed…
