Hurricane Irma had just swept past Treasure Beach and you could still feel the low pressure in your lungs. The Caribbean was eerily calm with a warm sea breeze caressing three-inch waves over exposed reef heads. The sun was feeling generous in retiring for the day – and with one last sweeping gesture, painted the sky and low clouds with a golden brush – its own reflection rippling from the horizon to my feet…
