THE BUZZ

from $3,000.00

Artist: H Lynn Hacking
Location: Segovia, Spain

Pollination. The key to our world’s food supplies. Props to the bees. A honey bee’s wings beat around 230 times per second, which creates their buzz. The bees in the Segovia lavender fields make so much noise, you get caught up in it. It is an uplifting vibration that you feel in your soul. As soon as you are near, you begin to hear them. Apis mellifera iberiensis, or the Spanish bee. They are so numerous, their buzzing is all you hear. Like my mother says, “don’t bother them and they won’t bother you.” But we are. Globalization and human activity, along with the use of bee-killing pesticides are the main factors for the diminishing bee populations, worldwide. The bees in Spain are numerous, but very much endangered. Einstein said: “If the bee disappeared off the face of the Earth, man would have only four years left to live.” Check it out. Support your honey producers. Bee responsible…

A pollenating provocative image which transports one by bee to the lavender fields of Spain. Adds an appetizing touch of Herbs de Provence. Made for acrylic and looks irresistible on stretched canvas – framed signed and numbered limited editions are timeless…
