I was a fashion photographer on vacation in Treasure Beach. It’s on the south coast of the island. I was asked to take pictures of Sally Henzell’s new artistic boutique resort, Jake’s. Sally was born in Treasure Beach and she loves it here. I love it too. Jake’s was just taking off and many of the mini villas were still under construction with Sally all over the place, diligently managing her crews in order to stay true to her artistic vision. I love color and she has a vast palate – so we both were having a blast. After the hot, humid work each day, we’d jump into the cool, clear Caribbean and swim off, literally into the sunset…
